Private Tuition
If you're dead-keen on pulling your artistic skills forwards, but you'd definitely prefer to do that in the comfort of your own home, or in a smaller group, or even individually, then private tuition sounds like it's a good fit for you.
The benefits of working in a private tuition scenario are numerous. The extra personal attention you'll enjoy means absolutely tailored advice and encouragement will make your advances as swift and simple as it could possibly be.
I'm happy to work with individuals, or groups of up to four friends, and am flexible about the location up to 20 miles from my base near St. Neots in Cambridgeshire.
One-off lessons of two hours start at £80 for an individual, with an additional £10 extra per person up to a maximum of four (That's only £27.50 per head if four of you share the cost).
Prices enjoy a 10% discount for block-bookings of four or more lessons which are paid up front.
I provide basic drawing materials in the price, although any materials can be supplied upon request (oils, acrylic, pastels etc), naturally these will be charged extra, as will extra mileage if your chosen location is a little bit further than usual.
Subjects I'm happy to work with in a private tuition scenario include, but are not limited to:
Introduction to drawing (basics)
Portraits in charcoal
Portraits in pastels
Portraits in oils
Figure Drawing in charcoal
Figure drawing in pastels
Introduction to Oil or Acrylic paints (basics)
How to draw a Spitfire (or anything else mechanical!)

Plein Air sketching
I am DBS registered and have public liability insurance cover in place.
