Sit back, relax.

Let me do all the work. It'll be fun.

I love drawing, I love painting, I love making portraits from life but above all I love talking about them all to an assembled group of artists! I rarely shut up during a two-hour demo, which I hear isn't always the case - I'm often thanked for not giving one of those "quiet demos" where two hours of staring at an artists back is the norm; Nope, that will NEVER be me! I love engagement during the demos and encourage questions and conversation during my demo to keep it interesting for all of us.

I have a number of different demonstrations available, usually of around 2 hours, and can deliver these either at your own venue or using my pro-level Zoom account, with access to a recording for two weeks after the event.

A non-exhaustive list of demos:

* Portrait sitting from live model - charcoal or pastels or acrylic paint or oil paint (can be from a photo for zoom or where no sitter is available)

* A two pencil portrait on grey paper from a live sitter.

* Portrait in pastels on black paper - (usually from a photo as the subject matter needs to be just right)

* Representational Life Drawing from a live model (or photo)

* Expressive Life Drawing from a live model

* Why understanding charcoal will make you a better artist even in colour!

* How to draw a Spitfire

If you're interested in attending, hosting or commissioning a demonstration for your art group from the above list, or perhaps something similar, please get in touch using the form below. I'm always happy to entertain new ideas - if they're art based, fun and doable in two hours, I'm probably going to be up for it!
